CUNYfirst hosting will perform maintenance for both Prod and Non-Prod instances during the following weekend.

Start Date: Nov. 19th (Both Production and *Non-Production)
Start Time: 7:00 PM ET

End Date: Nov. 20th (Production)
End Time: 7:00 PM ET

*Non- Production environments will be available by 7:00 AM ET on Monday Nov.21 2016.

CUNY CIS will be migrating two security related processes to CUNYfirst on Thursday, November 10, 2016.
1) Extract Process: this process will create files with user security information to be used by the campuses – this will have no user impact.
2) Update Blank Permission List: this process will update active employees and students that have blank primary and row security permissions list. This will only affect user that have blank permission lists that should not be blank.

Any user that has existing permission lists will not be affect by the process.

Some users continue to experience problems accessing CUNY-hosted email services.
The intermittent problems accessing CUNYfirst login, CUNY Portal, Blackboard and other CUNY-wide applications and services have been addressed.
CIS continues to work with Microsoft to investigate and resolve the access to CUNY-hosted email services issue.

CUNY experienced a re-occurrence of the service disruption from earlier today. Access to CUNY-hosted email, CUNYfirst login, CUNY Portal, Blackboard and other CUNY-wide applications and services is being restored as network components come back online.

CIS technicians continue to work with our vendors and hosting service providers to investigate the issue and eliminate another service disruption.

Another update will be sent within an hour.
