Subject: CUNY Login Upgrade

Welcome Back for Fall 2019 Semester

Over the summer, the CUNY Login service and access to CUNY-wide applications and services was upgraded. This upgrade provides a new self-service page with updated features and a modern look and feel. You will continue to use you CUNY Login account (username@login.cuny.edu) to access applications like CUNYfirst, Blackboard and DegreeWorks. The only change you will see are the new/updated CUNY Login self-service features and functions.

The new/updated CUNY Login features include:

• A URL to access the CUNY Login self-service functions: https://managelogin.cuny.edu

• Activate Your CUNY Login- Only incoming Faculty, Staff and Students will need to activate their account. New user is no longer used as a method to reset the CUNY Login password.
  
• Forgot Username- Users will have to provide personal information to receive the username and EMPLID
  
• Forgot Password- To reset the password, two security questions must be answered
• If you are unaware of your security questions, instructions will be sent to your email informing you on how to complete forgot password.

• Manage Your Account- After successfully, logging in, users will be able to change password, security questions, email address and phone number.
• Update personal information in Manage Your Account will NOT update the information currently in CUNYfirst.
